Maintaining your certification
App and Desktop certifications are valid for three years from the date you obtain the certification. New exams will release during this time. To maintain your certification, you must pass the latest exam at your certification level before your three-year expiration date.

Updating to App and Desktop Certifications
- CCA and CCAA certificates can achieve the Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-AD) by passing the Associate-level exam, 1Y0-200.
- CCEE for Virtualization certificates can achieve the Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-AD) by passing the Professional-level exam, 1Y0-300.
- CCIA for Virtualization certificates can achieve the Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-AD) by passing the Expert-level exam, 1Y0-400.
