NB: Starting August 29, 2025, Omnissa removed mandatory training prerequisites for new certifications, making the program more accessible and flexible.

• OCAP, OCP and Specialist legacy exams are retired since Aug2025.
• Existing credentials remain valid until expiry. Unexpired credentials will be honored as prerequisites for higher-level certifications.
• All Omnissa credentials are valid for two years from the issue date.

Omnissa certifications demonstrate acquired skills. Recommended courses cover most topics but not all.

• OCA - Administrator level: Build foundational skills in virtual desktop delivery and unified endpoint management.  
• OCE - Engineer level: Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and optimization expertise for Horizon and Workspace ONE environments. 
• OCDE - Design Engineer level: Validate your ability to design and integrate large-scale Omnissa environments for scalability and reliability.
• OCPE - Expert level: Complete both Horizon and Workspace ONE tracks to earn the highest recognition for architects designing enterprise-scale solutions.  

Knowledge that can only be gained from hands-on experience is also needed to pass the exams.

This generic exam voucher allows presenting any of the below certifications:

OCA - Administrator level:

• Certification Omnissa Certified Administrator – Horizon (OCA-H)
•  65-item exam, with a passing score of 275 using a scaled method. Candidates are given an appointment time of 135 minutes.
• Recommended courses:
• OMHICM Horizon Install, Configure and Manage
• OMHAO Horizon Administration and Operations
 
•  Certification Omnissa Certified Administrator – Workspace ONE (OCA-W)
•  65-item exam, with a passing score of 290 using a scaled method. Candidates are given an appointment time of 135 minutes
• Recommended courses:
• OMWS1CM Workspace ONE Configure and Manage
• OMWS1UEMAO Workspace ONE UEM administration and operations

OCE - Engineer level: 

• Certification Omnissa Certified Engineer – Horizon (OCE-H) 
• 65-item exam, with a passing score of 285 using a scaled method. Candidates are given an appointment time of 135 minutes
• Recommended course:
• OMHTB Horizon troubleshooting
• Certification Omnissa Certified Engineer - Workspace ONE (OCE-W) 
• 65-item exam, with a passing score of 285 using a scaled method. Candidates are given an appointment time of 135 minutes
• Recommended course: 
• OMWS1UEMTS Workspace ONE troubleshooting

OCDE - Design Engineer level and OCPE - Expert level are not yet available

Each certification level requires its own prerequisites including hands-on experience and practice.
