Today's organizations are challenged with rapidly detecting cybersecurity breaches and effectively responding to security incidents. Teams of people in Security Operations Centers (SOC’s) keep a vigilant eye on security systems, protecting their organizations by detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats.
The CCNA Cyber Ops certification prepares students for beginning and associate level roles in cybersecurity operations centers and focuses on security principles and technologies, using Cisco security products to provide hands-on examples.

Recertification
The CCNA Cyber Ops certification is valid for three years. To recertify, pass ONE of the following before the certification expiration date:
- Pass any current Associate-level exam except for ICND1 exam
- Pass any current 642-XXX Professional-level or any 300-XXX Professional-level exam
- Pass any current 642-XXX Cisco Specialist exam
- Pass any current CCIE Written Exam
- Pass the current CCDE Written Exam or current CCDE Practical Exam
- Pass the CCAr interview and the CCAr board review
