Certificate of Completion – Level 1 in Business Analysis
The program of study offered by Global Knowledge and leading to the Certificate of Completion – Level 1 in Business Analysis is designed for individuals new to business analysis, professionals who work with business analysts and anyone involved in solution development.
To earn the Certificate of Completion – Level 1 in Business Analysis, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Complete four courses within two years
- Pass the final test at the end of each course with a minimum grade of 70%
- Attend at least 90% of class time and participate in class exercises and section-knowledge checks

Start by taking the following two mandatory courses:
- Business Analysis Essentials
- Élaboration, documentation et gestion des exigences
- Requirements Development, Documentation, and Management
Then take one of the following courses:
- Project Management Overview

- Project Management Fundamentals
- IT Project Management
Take the final course from the following list:
- Effective Facilitation for Business Analysts
- Business Process Analysis

- Requirements Validation and Testing
Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn the Certificate of Completion – Level 1 in Business Analysis awarded by the McMaster University Centre for Continuing Education.

Transfer of credits to another Certificate of Completion – Level 1 or new Certificate of Completion – Level 2:
- Students wishing to complete the Certificate of Completion – Level 1 in another product line may apply one course toward the second Certificate of Completion – Level 1.
- Students wishing to complete the Certificate of Completion – Level 2 in another product line may apply two courses toward the Certificate of Completion – Level 2.
