The PCNSA certification covers how to operate and manage Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls.

The PCNSA certification validates the knowledge and skills required for network security administrators responsible for operating and managing Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall (NGFWs).  PCNSA certified individuals have demonstrated knowledge of the Palo Alto Networks firewall feature set.

Recertification

Palo Alto Networks certifications are valid for two years from the date you pass the exam. You must wait six months after becoming certified before taking another exam for the same certification. To keep your credential in active status, you must recertify by retaking the exam prior to your expiration date.
