Global Knowledge offers brand new VMware Kubernetes training courses

VMware is working on (and has launched a technology preview of) Project Pacific. With this project, VMware is transforming vSphere to a native Kubernetes platform. Kubernetes will be part of the control panel of vSphere. Because of this, Kubernetes has access to compute, storage and network resources.

With the help of Pacific, you'll be able to converge virtual machines by using Native Pods with a high performance. These Native Pods are safe and easy to work with.

New Kubernetes training coures

Global Knowledge is offering new Kubernetes courses by VMware starting January 2020. These courses are excellent preparation for all Project Pacific has to offer your organization in the future.

Kubernetes Foundations

The duration of this course is 2 days 
This training course is the first step into the world of containers and Kubernetes. During this course, you'll learn the basics of Kubernetes with lectures and hands-on labs. At the end of the course, you'll test your knowledge by developing a two-tier application in Kubernetes.

Kubernetes Cluster Operations

The duration of this training course is 1 day
During this training course system administrators and cluster operators learn how to manage an existing cluster. During this course, you'll learn how to trouble-shoot a cluster and at the end of the course, you'll be able to manage a cluster by yourself. This training is a follow-up course to the Kubernetes Foundations training course.

VMware Enterprise PK: Install, Configure and Manage Workshop

The duration of this training course is five days
In five days you'll learn how to install, configure and manage VMware PKS 1.5. On PKS 1.5 there is a container solutions that uses Kubernetes for multi-cloud enterprises and service providers. At the end of this training course, you'll be able to install and manage a PKS environment for your organization.
