Global Knowledge x MCIT: Delivering Digital Skills at National Scale

The Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative (DEPI) is one of the largest national digital upskilling programs launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to develop job ready digital talent at scale across the country. DEPI delivers an end to end learning journey that goes beyond traditional training, combining technical education, hands on practice, real world projects, freelancing exposure, and professional certification to ensure graduates are market ready.
The initiative is implemented nationwide in partnership with leading training providers, Global Knowledge, ensuring standardized quality, scalable delivery, and industry aligned content across all cohorts.

- 3,000+ graduates to date, with 1,000 trainees currently enrolled
- 4 delivery rounds since May 2024 (≈1,000 trainees per round)

A Structured Pathway from Learning to Real Work:
DEPI adopts a practical, outcomes driven learning model that ensures participants acquire industry aligned technical skills, applied hands on experience, and direct exposure to real market requirements, supported by Global Knowledge’s large scale delivery capabilities.

Learning Journey: Training → Practice → Real Projects → Freelancing → Certification

Key differentiator: Freelancing is a mandatory graduation requirement, ensuring that every trainee gains real world experience beyond the classroom.
