Examens: CWSP® - Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP-208)

The Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) is a professional-level certification for wireless LAN professionals. A CWSP is a WLAN subject matter expert who can assist in creating and implementing an organization's enforceable security policy by following regulations, standards, and best practices. A CWSP can identify and mitigate threats and use appropriate tools and procedures to ensure ongoing WLAN security.

• Number of questions: 60 multiple-choice questions
• Passing score: 70% or higher; instructors must score 80% or higher.

• Delivery method: CWNP Remote Proctored Exam
• Certification validity: Three years.
• Recertification: Hold a current and valid CWNA certification and pass the current CWSP exam. Passing the CWSP exam renews the CWNA certification for another three years.

The CWSP certification validates the candidate's ability to:

• Create and implement an organization's WLAN security policy in accordance with regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate threats to wireless networks.
• Use appropriate tools and procedures to ensure ongoing WLAN security.
• Understand WLAN security policy, vulnerabilities, threats and attacks, security design and architecture, and security lifecycle management.

Candidates must hold a current and valid CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator) certification to earn the CWSP certification. A current and valid CWNA credential is a mandatory prerequisite for the CWSP exam certification.
