Parte superiorThe “PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer” exam complies with the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements. The exam covers the following competency domains:
- Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a BCMS
- Domain 2: Initiation of a BCMS implementation
- Domain 3: Planning of a BCMS implementation based on ISO 22301
- Domain 4: Implementation of a BCMS based on ISO 22301
- Domain 5: Evaluation of the performance of a BCMS based on ISO 22301
- Domain 6: Continual improvement of a BCMS based on ISO 22301
- Domain 7: Preparation for a BCMS certification audit
You can apply for one of the credentials listed in the following table after successfully passing the exam. You will receive a certificate once you fulfill all the requirements related to the selected credential
The requirements for PECB Implementer Certifications are as follows:
PECB Certified ISO 22301 Provisional Implementer
- Exam: PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer Exam or equivalent
- Professional experience: None required
- BCMS project experience: None required
- Other requirements: Signing the PECB Code of Ethics
PECB Certified ISO 22301 Implementer
- Exam: PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer Exam or equivalent
- Professional experience: Two years, including one year of work experience in Business Continuity Management
- BCMS project experience: Project activities totaling 200 hours
- Other requirements: Signing the PECB Code of Ethics
PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer
- Exam: PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer Exam or equivalent
- Professional experience: Five years, including two years of work experience in Business Continuity Management
- BCMS project experience: Project activities totaling 300 hours
- Other requirements: Signing the PECB Code of Ethics
PECB Certified ISO 22301 Senior Lead Implementer
- Exam: PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer Exam or equivalent
- Professional experience: Ten years, including seven years of work experience in Business Continuity Management
- BCMS project experience: Project activities totaling 1,000 hours
- Other requirements: Signing the PECB Code of Ethics
Note: PECB Certified Individuals who do possess the Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor Credentials are qualified for the respective PECB Master Credential, given they have taken 4 additional Foundation Exams which are related to this scheme.
To be considered valid, these implementation activities should follow the best implementation practices and include activities such as:
- Drafting a BCMS plan
- Initiating a BCMS implementation
- Implementing a BCMS
- Monitoring and managing a BCMS implementation
- Continually improving a BCMS
