This is how you renew your Citrix certification

Citrix gives you the opportunity to renew your expired Citrix certification until December 31st. Find out how to renew your certification in this article.

There are two ways to renew your Citrix certification. You can follow the required training course in the Virtual Classroom (or in the classroom at one of our locations) or pass the exam.

How do I get certified?

Below you'll find out what you have to do for every specific certification. The links take you to the specific training course page straight away. On this page, you'll find out when the course is next planned in the open roster

If you prefer to take the exam, the links in the exam titles will immediately take you to the exam page. On this page you can decide on which date you want to take the exam and book it. Global Knowledge offers some Citrix exams online. Find out which ones on this page.

Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V)

For the CCA-V certification, there are two training courses you can choose from: the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Administration On-Premises and in Citrix Cloud (CWS-215) or the Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops and Provisioning 7.1x Administration (Fast Track) (CMB-318). If you'd rather take the exam, you take the 1Y0-204 exam.

Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V)

For the CCP-V certification you follow the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Advanced Deployment, Troubleshooting, Security and Administration (CWS-315) training course or the Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops and Provisioning 7.1xAministration (Fast Track)(CMB-318) and the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Backup, Recovery, Security and Troubleshooting (CWS-313) training course. You can also take the 1Y0-311 exam instead.

Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V)

For the CCE-V certification you either take the Citrix Virtual Apps and Deskops 7 Assessment, Design and Advanced Configuration training course (CWS-415) or the 1Y0-402 exam.

Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA-N)

You get CCA-N certified by attending the Citrix ADC 12.x Essentials and Traffic Management (CNS-220) or the Citrix ADC 12.x Essentials and Citrix Gateway (CNS-222) training course. You can also take the exam instead, you can either do the 1Y0-240 or the 1Y0-230.

Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP-N)

You receive a CCP-N certification by attending the Citrix ADC 12.x Advanced Concepts - Security, Management and Optimization (CNS-320) training course or passing the 1Y0-340 exam.

Citrix Certified Expert - Networking (CCE-N)

A CCE-N certification is achieved by attending the Citrix Networking Assessment, Design and Advanced Configuration (CNS-420) training course or passing the 1Y0-440 exam.

Citrix Certified Endpoint Management (CC-CEM)

Get your CC-CEM certification by attending the Manage Citrix Endpoint Management (CEM-205) training course or passing the CC-CEM Assesment exam.

Citrix Certified Professional - Mobility (CCP-M)

Instead of the CCP-M certification you get the Citrix Certified Endpoint Management certification (CC-CEM) now. You can read how to get this certification above this text.

Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC-VAD-CC)

Attend one of the following training courses for a CC-VAD-CC certification

You can also take the CC-CEM Assesment exam instead to recertify

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Microsoft Azure (CC-VAD-MA)

To renew your CC-VAD-MA certification you can either follow the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Microsoft Azure (CXD-251) or the Moving to the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud with Microsoft Azure (CXD-252) training course. You can also do the assesment - 1Y0-150.

Citrix SD-WAN Certified (CC-SDWAN)

For this certification you either attend the Citrix NetScaler SD-WAN Hands-On Workshop (CNS-200W) or take the full assessment.
